Iranian Festival 2009

On June 20th 2009, we are excited to present the 3rd Annual Iranian Festival!

This event we will bring Iranian heritage to the community at large and bring excitement to our youth and ourselves. The Iranian Festival will consist of several venues; Persian musical and dance performances and other entertainment, film showings, book reading by Iranian American writer Firoozeh Dumas, art exhibits, music exhibits, poetry, children’s activities, a tea house, a dance party, plus our traditional Persian food!

Iranian Festival part of Seattle Center’s Festál

We are proud to announce that the 2009 Iranian Festival will be part of the Seattle Center’s Festál and will be taking place in the Center House. Look out for Iranian Festival TV spots on Comcast cable beginning in June.

Safeco Insurance Festál, presented by Seattle Center in partnership with community organizations, is a yearlong series of FREE events that honors the cultural richness and diversity of the Pacific Northwest. Safeco Insurance Festál plays a vital part in Seattle Center efforts to connect our dynamic and varied communities. This collection of 22 events is presented with the generous support of Safeco Insurance, Wells Fargo, Verizon Wireless and KUOW 94.9 Public Radio. The Paul G. Allen Family Foundation, The Boeing Company, Seattle Center Fund and the City of Seattle provide additional support.
