IACA Love Award

IACA Love Award

The Seattle Iranian Festival, hosted by the Iranian American Community Alliance (IACA), was recently presented the 2009 Love Award in recognition of its positive works in the Seattle community. This award was given on behalf of Steve Sneed, the manager of programming for Seattle Center Productions and member of the Washington State Arts Commission. The presentation of the Love Award comes in conjunction with the proud entrance of the Iranian Festival into Seattle Center Festál, a year-long series of 22 ethnic festivals that honor the cultural richness and diversity of the Pacific Northwest.

The Seattle Iranian Festival and IACA proudly accepts this award on behalf of the Iranian American community, its volunteers and supporters that allowed for the success of the Festival in 2009. The IACA looks forward to future successes and encourages community involvement in the 2010 Iranian Festival.

  1. Any thing for me to do? From sweeping floors to whatever else you’re looking for a volunteer to fill in.

Forza everybody. I was so happy after watching your pics regarding many events (norooz, arts, dances) and this makes me think about culturalism being passed on to the new generations.
